We look forward to welcoming you to Still Here: Generations of Black Miami Artmaking. The convening program will take place over two days, September 28–29 on campus at the University of Miami. The closing performance will be offsite on September 30, with more information to follow soon.

Please use the Pavia Garage on the University of Miami campus, located at 5615 Pavia St, Coral Gables, FL 33146. It's a short 5-10-minute walk from the parking garage to the venues.

If you're using a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft, please input "University of Miami - Lakeside Pavilion” or "Shalala Student Center" address as your destination.

When arriving at the Lakeside Pavillion, rideshare dropoff is within the Stanford Circle roundabout. When arriving at the Shalala Student Center, the rideshare drop off location is within the Miller Drive Roundabout.

The University Drive Metrorail station is conveniently located across the street from the University of Miami campus. Simply exit the station, cross the street, and enter directly through the gates between the traffic light and the bus stop. This path is the quickest to Lakeside Pavilion. If heading to the Shalala Student Center, place the location in your GPS of choice, from there it is roughly a 5-minute walk.

There are several locations on campus to eat! While at the Lakeside Pavillion, Smoothie King and Daybreak are just a 3-minute walk away from the venue space. Within the UM Food court, there is Subway, Tossed Salads, Halal Shack, and The Market, our very own convience store for small beverages and snacks.
